Single Announcement: Watson Maack to release "Right One" in April

Reading-turned-Nashville based indie rocker Watson Maack has just announced that his first single as a solo artist is due for release on April 19th. “Right One” will premiere before his hometown gig at The Hitching Post on the same day .

Formerly the frontman for Christian rock group Boundaries, Maack has branched out as a solo artist since starting his freshman at Belmont University last fall. He played his first official show earlier this year at Chatty Monks Brewing in West Reading to celebrate this next chapter in his career as well as debuting lots of new material that he says will find its way onto an EP later this year.

“Right One “ pulls influences from another Nashville singer-songwriter, Ben Rector. His simplistic guitar riffs and heavy-handed vocals are already prevalent in Maack’s own work. Maack also collaborated with producer Jason Wozniak, and the transition from an alt rock to acoustic performer has been seamless for Maack so far. “Right One” is the anticipated start to a promising niche for him.

You can stream “Right One” on April 19th and catch him at The Hitching Post next month.
