Ali Awan Crafts Vintage Daydream With "Sisters & Brothers" Video

Local indie rocker Ali Awan just released a found footage video for his upcoming single, “Sisters & Brothers,” set for release on streaming services March 29th. You can purchase the track now on Bandcamp and Soundcloud.

He collaborated with Braden Lawrence of Philly’s own The Districts, and the result is a warped and kaleidoscopic look at days gone by. It meshes with the song perfectly. Lyrics that describe both a timeless and out-of-time sensation paired with twanging and purposeful guitars set the ideal soundscape for this scrapbooked video. It’s incredibly cool and takes a different creative direction from Awan’s previous video releases.
